Meadows edge 2

I stitched a series of 4 little embroideries inspired by the foliage in the hedgerows, by the side of meadows.

I used my Juki machine and free motion to sew breakdown printed fabric and applique fabrics, I also used my domestic Juki to create looped textures in yellow thread and added some hand stitch. I have purposely kept the frayed ripped edges, I love the soft edges they create. 2 of the set are in Gallery at 12 Eccleshall.

They measure 5" x 5" x 2" deep 13cm x 13cm x 5cm deep

They are mounted onto bespoke frames covered in canvas.
