Be Bold SOLD

I love this embroidery, it arose from a feeling of being Bold, with colour and design.  I selected screen printed and painted fabric for the background in strong colours, I then added the vase and flowers appliquéing or collaging them on top of the background.  The stitching began using my Juki machine and thick wool threads. It came together quickly and I love the finished work, I feel it is a turning point for my work.

It measures 39cm x 39cm

The frame measures 43cm x 43cm

The frame is untreated wood at the moment, so if you wish you can paint it white or stain it any colour you wish. If you would like me to put a clear wax on it please let me know.
