I used my 10oz cotton canvas as the background, I hand painted the background, collaged tissue paper and silk for the background then appliquéd the flowers and bird in fabrics and stitched in free motion embroidery.

the embroidery measures 30cm x 39cm

The frame measures 32.5cm x 42.5cm. it is 3cm deep white wooden tray frame.
