Flowers and grasses

In person workshops run from my home in Whitgreave Staffordshire.

You will learn how to draw flowers and grasses with your sewing machine.

I will teach you the freemotion embroidery and applique techniques that I use in my textile practice.

There will be short demos and lots of time to practise in the morning and time to do your own design inspired by my work in the afternoon.

Materials are supplied but feel free to bring fabrics to applique and threads.

The workshop will be held in my open plan lounge/kitchen dining room but there will be time to visit my studio in the garden.

10:00 am to 4:00 pm with a short tea break in the morning and afternoon and as much or little time as you want for lunch

I will supply all drinks and snacks but please bring your own packed lunch.

You will need to bring:-

Sewing machine where you can lower the feed dogs and an embroidery foot.

sharp small and medium scissors.

All the extras for your machine like bobbins, feet and extension tables.

Once enrolled I will send you more information.

If you have paid for a workshop that was cancelled book onto the course normal way but say pay off line and email me to say you have already paid, if you have paid £65 you will not need to pay anymore.

I will not be running many workshop.
