Please note, this wall hanging will be made to order and can be made in various sizes.
This textile wall hanging features a goldcrest sitting amongst stylised leaves and grasses. It is a combination of print, appliqué and stitch in Jo's unique style, and is a beautiful new pebble shape. Bring some curve appeal to your walls!
Jo created this original Goldcrest design from her studio in the heart of the Staffordshire countryside. It was created using free motion embroidery, an exciting technique where she uses the sewing machine to 'draw' the details of the wildlife onto the fabric with the sewing machine.
This type of wall hanging is new for 2020 and is a combination of Jo's printed fabrics with delicate stitching and couched wools on top for lovely, textured details. It has a layer of MDF and a layer of wadding inside so that it hangs well; the front and back is fabric. The wall hanging will be edged in a bespoke wool mix made by Jo and comes ready to hang on your wall.
The piece in the photographs measures 30cm x 22cm although other sizes are available - please see the Sizes tab.
