These cards are handmade, using a variety of fabrics, from, linens, cottons, wools, some will be hand dyed, some ripped, manipulated and shredded fabrics. They are stitched using my Juki sewing machine in both straight stitch and free motion embroidery.
I have used many threads, cottons, rayons and wools, in many thicknesses to add interest, texture and variety.
Some cards will have hand stitching on them or drawn marks.
They are machine stitched onto the cards.
They are A6 on 220gm white card with a recycled brown envelope.
They will be wrapped in tissue not cellophane to help with the environment.
The cards are inspired by the Staffordshire landscape that surrounds my home in Whitgreave.
