ORIGINAL EMBROIDERY
This Great Tit was created using an appliqued background, it incorporates many different ripped fabrics. I then stitched the background flowers and grasses into it using many threads. I then added an appliquéd Great Tit.
The stems are created using thick threads wound on the bobbin and worked in reverse.
I have mounted it onto wool and hung it on driftwood attached using my hand spun yarn.
the embroidery measures 19cm x 29cm
the total length including the driftwood is 37cm
