Wren on Seedheads

This small embroidery of a wren on seed heads, it is made using traditional applique techniques and free motion embroidery. Made using my semi industrial Juki machine. I frayed then layered up 3 or 4 background fabrics, leaving the edges natural. The fabrics range from hand dyed cottons to silk and hand painted cottons.

It measures 15cm x 20cm and is mounted onto an off white mount board measuring A 4 size so it will fit into a standard A4 frame of your choice.
