Abstract mixed media based on Seed Heads.
This embroidery is created by collaging hand dyed or printed fabrics and papers to form a background, then the flowers and leaf details are then stitched into the background using my Juki sewing machine and appliquéd fabrics.
The original sketch was drawn one summer evening walking around a village on the outskirts of Bath Bath Easton.
Work measures 30cm squared, off white mount measures 40cm
